Addis Abeba Regional Workshop on Universalization on the Convention on Cluster Munitions for African States

Co-hosted by Lao PDR, Presidency of the CCM 3 Review Conference, and the Republic of Cameroon, the workshop on 5th and 6th June, provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and opportunities, and strengthen efforts to advance universalisation and implementation of the Convention across the African continent.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Government of Ethiopia for hosting us in Addis Ababa, and thank all participants, partners, interpreters, and organizers for their valuable contributions. We look forward to building on this momentum in the lead up to the Third Review Conference in Vientiane, Lao PDR, in September 2026.
