Second Review Conference (2RC) – part 1

The Second Review Conference on the Convention on Cluster Munitions (2RC) was planned to be held on 23-27 November 2020 at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, States Parties agreed that the 2RC take place in two parts: on 25-27 November 2020 in virtual format and on 4-5 February 2021 at the Palais des Nations, Geneva. Thereafter, States Parties agreed that second part of the 2RC will be postponed further until the health situation allows for the holding of the meeting.

The first part of the 2RC was held on 25-27 November 2020 in virtual format. Video recordings of the Meeting are available on UN Web TV in all six official languages of the United Nations:
