An African Conference on Cluster Munitions was held in Livingstone, Zambia, from 31 March 2008 to 1 April 2008. It was the first round of discussions amongst African states to facilitate the creation of an international treaty that advocates for the prohibition of all cluster munitions.
The Conference resulted in 39 African states endorsing the Livingstone Declaration on Cluster Munitions (la Déclaration en français).
