INFORMATION
The need to consider the environment and implement appropriate environmental protection measures is incorporated into the Lausanne Action Plan. This side event presents the practical measures already taking place, and the steps needed to improve environmental outcomes across mine action activities. It will include examples of initiatives underway by mine action organisations and the knowledge sharing through the informal working group on Environmental Issues and Mine Action.
