During this session, States Parties were encouraged to provide an update on the specific implementation measures they have taken under Article 9 of the Convention. In particular, States Parties were invited to share their experiences with national legislation and other measures in place to give effect to the full range of prohibitions and positive obligations in the Convention. Other delegations with an interest on national implementation measures were also invited to present views here.
