Universalisation Session (chaired by Japan)
During this session States Parties, signatories, non-signatories, international organisations and civil society were invited to make statements with regards to universalization.
States Parties with obligations to promote the universalization of the Convention were encouraged to provide an update on their plans, priorities and progress on their efforts to implement the Vientiane Action Plan
