Cluster Munition Coalition
The CMC is a network of around 200 civil society organisations, including NGOs, faith-based groups and professional organisations. It includes global organisations like Handicap International, the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and Human Rights Watch, as well as national-based organisations such as the Lebanon Landmine Resource Centre, Protection in Egypt and the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society. The CMC’s goal is to protect civilians from the effects of cluster munitions. The CMC has three strategic objectives to achieve this goal:
The CMC coordinates civil society participation in the Oslo process and is represented by a separate delegation in the discussions.
